Another neighbour of mine, And what a bloody nice building it is too.

The venue is truely beautiful, an old bank on Threadneedle Street. The building has more to say than the food, but Jamie’s Prosecco is worth a glass or two, and the crazy fried ravioli unique.

The food here isn’t so much Italian, but a twist on hearty comfort food with a mediterranean spin.  You will find dishes decorated with fried spaghetti giving home to tempura style fish. The portion sizes are too much for me. The misto fritto consisted of 3 lightly fried sardines (delicious), 2 HUGE Madagascan prawns, some shell fish and quite a few chunks of battered white fish, even with 2 people eating this dish we had left overs!

It’s not fine dining but it is lovely Italian inspired food in a fantastic old bank. Bar staff are really friendly & know which are the best dishes to order. Crazy fried ravioli is bloody lovely makes a lovely starter

Must try: crazy fried spaghetti appetiser

Must drink: Jamie’s prosecco. Not bad!
