Luuk at home on the new The Corbusier, as re-upholstered by Langstaff Garcia (Carlos & Jolyon We love it :)
Attention to its detailing was the key to its success. And photos from Langstaff Garcia helped to making sure the right feather paddings & foam were sought to match the original 1972 design. The leather is a UK cow hide, also a Langstaff Garcia purchase.

New dining table in the hoose!
Designed & built by our local furniture makers; ‘unto this last’, near Brick Lane, London. The design of the table was chosen to compliment the city view it rests under.
In view of the table we have The Gherkin (St. Matt’s Axe), an architectural structure that matches the legs of the table, along with our pepper pot & Eames dining chairs. We have created a space where legs reflect nicely in the high gloss flooring; a Synergy where soft matt walnut wood & fine architectural lines meet to enhance our space enigmatically.

An Epoxy Resin Floor by Vuba Supplies
As I renovate The Tower, my city pad, I once again start with a new floor. I have chosen a light grey epoxy resin from Vuba Supplies. I hired ‘Greg’ the builder, a stylish Polish chap that I found on Gumtree & by chance has done the Epoxy floors at Kings College. And as most companies quoted around the £5k to £7k mark to do this project I really needed someone like Greg who came in much cheaper.
I love it, love it love it!
YES, you’re more likely to find such flooring in an Asda Warehouse, but for a city apartment or a kitchen I feel it works really well & can confirm it is more durable than a pourous concrete floor which is what I use to have.
Some final pictures: I love the shine & the reflections

MY THOUGHTS
First impressions: wow! Second impressions: I wish I had covered the radiators as they have resin sashes on.
I shall post more pics soon. But, the previous floor was laid in 2007, a latex concrete screed, which had worn badly due to it’s porous nature.
And today, I am moving home.
